Noob question: is this cola ready for harvesting?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by stef il duce, Jul 18, 2019.

  1. Hi guys,

First grow, this is an autoflower from RQS, normal soil, has been flowering about 5 weeks

Ready to be cut and dried? Looking for a couch lock, body stoned more than a mental high

  2. If it's only been flowering for 5 weeks it probably needs at least another 3 weeks to finish. Best way to tell is to get a magnifying glass and look at the trichomes. If most of them are milky and amber it's ready. If most of them are still clear, it has a while to go.

If you're looking for a couchlock high it's better to go longer than to harvest early. The more amber trichomes, the more sleepy the high will be.

  3. thanks for the quick reply, did you check out the pictures i made of the trichomes? They look milky with some of them going amber.. Also note that this is an autoflower and not a photoperiod plant

  6. Looks like there is a bit of amber, odd for week 5 of flower. I'd definitely let it finish longer though
