non-reporting probation

    hey guys, havent posted in a while. so my court date is feb 25 for having my bowl and grinder on me. i've already been on probation since october, reporting weekly and now bi-weekly, while i've waited for the final court date. my lawyer told me i'll likely be on non-reporting probation for one year, and i would like to know if anyone has experience regarding drug tests and communication with your p/o while on non reporting. any help would be appreciated greatly.

    p.s. i live in ohio, im not sure if it would differ state by state

    I had a conditional discharge option when i got possession, I had one mouth swab drug test and didnt have to go back just stay outta trouble for the year and it was done. I dont know if you are gunna be in the same situation though because different states do different shit.

    i live in NC on probation now, non-reporting. just ahd to do a lot of comm service hours to make sure the possession would be expunged now i never call my probation officer dont think she cares lol oh and no durg tests at all either

    Not relating to the OP's question but I have one of my own, and this seems like a good place to ask.


    I have to go to an "evaluation" Monday on a PI charge. I'll be drug tested, so what happens when I piss dirty for the first test?

    I'll be put on color code AFTER the evaluation, so can they do anything to me?

    Is it like a pre-sentencing investigation? I think those look better to be clean for but Im not sure because I somehow passed the only time I was required to do it. If you are being sentenced and part of the sentencing is drug testing they wont care if you piss dirty the first time, as long as your TCH percents go down (in a lab test) or you start testing negative within a few tests (non lab test)

    thanks for the feedback. i'm assuming i wont get tested, but me being the way i am, if they tell me i could possibly get called back for a test, then it's gonna mess with my head.

    Why are you on probation? I thought in Ohio it was a $100 ticket no criminal record for herb and paraphanalia. Were you caught up under a local law or ordinance?

    i thought it was decriminalized too. im assuming i got fucked over because of the county i was in. they have a heroin/opiate problem. which, according to the judge, is directly linked to marijuana use.
