This is a sterling haze from nirvana on day 15 from sprout. I count 4 nodes.. I'm thinking I should top her she's showing a lot of under growth but my concern is the cotyledons haven't fallen off yet.. Everything I've read says I'm good to top after 3 nodes but all the other plants I've seen nodes aren't this tight and the cotyledons have fallen or pruned off.. Hello, the cotyledon leaves are there to feed the plant in the first stages of veg life. The longer you have those leaves the healthier you're plant is. When I do my last transplant i cut the leaves off and bury just past where I cut. So now roots will come out where I cut. You can top or FIM now if you like..it old enough. The nodes are nice and close...it look somewhat like mine. I trimmed the leaves around the out side to let light in underneath.

Yeah you can LST after you top, I topped about an hour after the lights came on. just pull them down a little for now. Growth will slow for a bit, the plant will be in shock for 3 or 4 days so don't worry and water normally.
Update... Lights came on bout 30 min ago I topped her I think it hurt me more than it did the plant it almost looked like blood came out j/k but I did see a wet spot. Thnx blaze appreciate it taking measurements for my next phase cause I bought everything at a small scale I didn't think I'd get this far my 2 lil plants are in a small 2'x2'x'3' good for germ and early veg. But gotta upgrade my thought at that time was I'm not gonna get crazy invested in a hobby I might not even like... But realizing how much I do like growing it's time to invest a lil more and do a whole lot more reading.. Lol should of pay'd more attention during biology... for some reason I love hazes. I just planted Berry haze but can't wait to grow them all! If I could I would do a whole grow room of all hazes

I'm growing in a walk in closet. I got a pretty dialed in set up, but it's costed way more than it should of, based on how many plants I'm able to grow. I also have no ability to vent outside the room, and smell has to be minimized so it'll doesn't create an issue with the residence above... My goal is to be able to maintain 4 strains, and harvest 1 plant every 3 weeks rotating the strains and achieve 6-8 oz per plant. I think in DWC I'll be able to do this in limited space. I pluck the 5th set when I top and it seems to be the magic number for me. I keep the light real close and I will get 6-8 tops at the canopy from topping once.
