So I wake up today 20 Minutes ago....I work in landscaping and my boss picks me up so I see him out there and I also see the grey skies. We dont work in the rain cause well try cutting grass in the rain. Well Im just wishing rain rain I don't wanna work at all. So im about to head out then BAM BOOM BANG It starts pouring rain like nobody's business and im happy like I just smoked 3 blunts lol. Shiiiit Payday too hes gonna come back later to pay me my weed money hahaha.
No not really, its just that you get paid good right off the bat. Start at 24/h, after 6 months its 28/4 (roughneck) then after like 2-4 you get 32 (derrickman) then another few years you make 38 (driller) then after that, depending on how much you know you can become a tool push and make like 60/h and its the easiest job ever. But fuck the rigs its HELL!!
i watch that show black gold, and that shit looks like everything but fun, im sorry but i wouldnt do that job for 100 an hr
Yeah I saw that too, those guys are complete idiots. Up here in Canada the rules and the people are much differen't. Which makes for a really good work envirnoment. But still, theres been times ive worked for 24 hours straight... The worst thing is the unpredictability of the job.
