I have been into 12/12 light cycle for 2 weeks, the plants have began to flower although I have seen no signs of trichomes. Now this only concerns me because the mother has been outside for 4 weeks because of mites and began flowering with an impressive amount of trichomes starting about 2-3 weeks ago. The mother is in soil a mixture of soil and fish farm and very little nutrients. Now the mother right as it began to flower was purple around all the buds, I then added a mixture of nutes and the leaves have turned back. ANY IDEA why? The six plants in the tent are being given Rockwool Formula one A & B as well as some boosters from Xtreme Nutrients. They are under a 1000w Ebb&Flow system 12/12 3 15m feedings a day Out Door Chemdog mother Indoor hydro Chemdog clone Tent ebbflow chemdog clones Any advise would be helpful thank you! I'm going to have to say you are getting a lot of trichs on your outdoor plant because of the sunlight. Doesn't matter your setup the sun will always be stronger. That's the only thing I could imagine is happening. Your chemdawg should develop trichs it'll just be later in flowering. As for the purple it's from the nutes you are using. I've had it happen to me as well. Purple leaves and stems on a non purple plant. Even if it's purple when you harvest it will go away when dried most likely. Also if it's the same type of chemdawg I'm growing it may have a little purple here and there. Just be patient on the trichs for the indoor. My last grow I had a chocolope that didn't start showing trich til the last 2 weeks and it was heavyyy lol here's a photo: You may notice some of the purple in it. But more importantly all the trichs lol. I'll snap a shot of my chemdawg when I go in this morning Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
