no middle stem pot plant?

Discussion in 'Cannabis Consumption Q&A & Tips' started by Numb23, Apr 4, 2014.

  1. Hey . A while ago my cat bit off the top of two of my plants they are still growing but the part she bit off hasn't grown back and it doesn't look like it will . Unfortunately it was the middle stem . And on my other plants that still have the stem it looks like the middle stem is the strongest part that holds the plant off. Will the ones that don't have the middle stem grow ok? Here is a pic of one without the middle stem beside one with the middle stem  . Help?

  2. If it survives, which in my opinion it looks like it will, then one of those shoots ( or both) will become the new main growing tip.
Probably the growing on the cat bitten one will be slow for a while though.

I've only been growing weed for a year now, but thats how other plants work so i imagine its the same.

I helped you now post a picture of the cat.

Yea, look up "topping". Its a good thing. However, your plants look liek they can use a lot more light. Or at least being closer to the light because they are pretty stretchy and thin. Also a fan to gently push the leaves and thin stems around will make the plant stems thicken up.

  5. Yep, kitty topped the plant. Get him to work on adding more light and youll be doing well.
