Sup blades! As the title says, I haven't really done any exercise for the past year. Before that, I played softball one day out of almost every week in the year, so I was at least somewhat active, but lately I have just been pretty lazy. I am 28 years old and sometimes I feel like my health is starting to deteriorate. I don't have much of an appetite anymore and when I do eat, I just make bad choices we'll just put it that way lol. I am about 5'8" and 145 lbs with ~10.5% body fat and my BMI is 22 and "healthy" on a doctor's scale. Anyway, since I haven't done much in a while, I want to start doing something again. I just don't know where to start? I don't just want to pickup some weights and start lifting or run a couple miles right off the get-go. I don't want to overexert myself. Also, I thought your metabolism is supposed to slow down as soon as you stop growing? It seems like i have been fighting with my metabolism for years now and it's kind of annoying. I know my eating habits don't help sometimes, but it seems like I can't gain anything. I have been the same weight for the longest time. I need to get some meat on my bones! Any advice is appreciated!
You could borrow some weight off of me if you would like.. Sorry OP, never really had a problem putting meat on my bones :/
Start with your diet. You will feel much better and will have more energy to lift and get bigger if that's your goal.
Start watching motivational videos on exercise, and watch them everyday so you stay dedicated to your own personal cause. Dedication is the most important thing if you want to change anything. Stay dedicated and have a good one. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBd05FQQPw4]6 RULES of SUCCESS by Arnold Schwarzenegger [HD] - YouTube[/ame]
