my week and a half old plant has its first set of leaves and they are folding up like a venus fly trap i can see the second set of leaves in the middle comin through and they appear to be healthy can if some one can drop me a line and tell me whats wrong befor i find out on google that would be sweet.....
My plants grow like crazy when they look like that. Theres nothing wrong with the leaves perking I consider when my leaves perk up that the plant is liking its conditions.
really when your plants "clam shell so to speak" they grow better than when there just chillin.... some one said they look heat stressed
about two weeks back my young plants looked like that because it was so damn hot outside. they are normal and healthy now. its probably nothing to worry about. edit: there could be a heat trap between the soil and the rim of the pot. maybe try adding a little more dirt. i think i remember reading something about this a long time ago.
