Hey guys The Grow: 2 Northen lights females 3 150 watt cfls ( one on each and on the middle) 5 gallon home depot buckets Regular miracle grow potting soil with 6 month fertilizer Water every two days. The Problem: Once i put the two girls into flowering the the lowest set of leaves on each plant turn yellow then die. The next day the set up from it does it. My plants a slowly withering from bottom to top. I posted this before on an older grow and i got a few responses. One kid said to put egg shells into the soil because i wasn't fertillizing and when the plant goes into flowering it needs extra nutrients or it will start to eat itself. I do so on my last grow and it worked out fine, but that was only in a small 1 gallon bucket. Now when i did this with my current plants it slowed down the dying but the plants still don't look healthy. Is there anything else i can put into the soil to help save them? A kid once told me that fish flakes work good, but i wasnt sure about so i want to ask the community before i try it. I don't live near any garden centers or hydro stores so i have to get my supplies from my local home depot, but if the problems serious i will take the 45 minute trip to a garden center. Thanks Everyone!
What about a Lowes? You need powdered dolomite lime. Does the same thing as the eggshells only better. In my area, only Lowes has the Powdered/Ground dolomite lime. Every place else only has pellets (no good), or hydrated (worse). A 40# bag cost ~$5. Wet
