Nitrogen Deficiency?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by JohnnyFrisco420, Aug 26, 2019.

  1. So I’ve made more than one post about this issues with no response so I guess I’ll try again one last time ;
    My plants have not had any issues throughout veg besides a magnesium deficiency which was fixed then . Now I’ve having problems with yellowing and it’s not just older leaves or just new leaves it’s both ; and it’s all over the plant ; I don’t understand why this is happening as I’m a first time grower but would really appreciate someone’s help as to what it could be ;

    During veg I fed maxibloom 1tsp per gallon once a week now I’ve switched to roots organic bloom 1tsp per gallon once a week and just added tiger bloom and big bloom both 1tsp per gallon and cal mag 8ml per gallon this is all only once a week ;

    Someone please help me cuz I don’t wanna lose these girls ): [IMG]

  2. Feeding once a week isn't enough. They need food! I haven't used maxi, but they are eating the leafs. Hell I saw a vid yesterday where people are completely stripping the plants and than 10 days later they looked like they did before.

  3. So when ur soil is dry ready to water or feed, do this
    Take a large shot glass of soil from ur plant and the same amount of distilled water and put in a cup. Stir around. Than put one meter in and get a reading. Than the other. So that will give u the true pH of ur soil. The ppms will tell u if ur plants are eating ur feeds or if they are hungry. So if I get a reading of 350 or under I feed. If it's over 350 i water. It's just that simple

  4. Try doing the slurries from now on before water and feed. This way u will know if they are hungry or not. I feed nectar sometimes 3 times in a row before just water

  5. U could give them some nitro for maybe 2 feeds than stop it and do slurries during flower

  6. Some guys are using mega crop. Which has nitro in it and all u do is weigh it and mix with water. So u can use nitro in flower. Not idea. Should load plants good before flower

  11. Could I just use the fert I have rn and feed at a higher dose ? I have both roots organic bloom which is a 3-7-4 and also tiger bloom and big bloom . And if I were to feed at a higher dose how much more would I use ? Double ?

  12. just feed normal dose ,by the way the yellow leaves will not green up ,but the nitrogen will stop the other leaves turning yellow ,,so take the yellow leaves off the plant if you want to it wont hurt the plant,,,,mac.

  14. if your feed as got N in it ..it should be ok ..it takes a bit of time for the leaves to go from light green to a darker green ..plus as ive said the yellowing leaves wont recover ,,have you tried adding Epson Salts(Mg) to your water) that will green the leaves up ,,,mac,

    Leave it the fuck alone.

    Many strains will eat their fan leafs no matter how much you feed and fuck with them.
    All my plants are in the same organic soil and the look can range from bright green with not a single fan leaf turned or lost.
    To buds on stick with no fans left, To somewhere in between with tons of yellowing leafs.
    Pluck off the yellows and let them be is my 2 cents. I'll do a yellow leaf pull every other day or so by this time of year.

    If you run the same strain again load the soil with a higher initial N load and see if it makes a difference.

  17. Yes I have added epsom salt ;

  18. just give he feed and the epsom salts time to work ,,,epsom salts works faster if you spray the solution on to the leaves ,,But your plants are in flower so its not recommended to spray in flower ,,so adding it to water takes longer to work just give it chance ,,but it will stop the other leaves going yellow,mac,

  19. I would say yes. That's why I suggest slurry test. But I would and look at New growth only. U can take off the yellow leafs. I just watched a vid where people are completely defoiling their plants before flower. 10 days later they look like they did before. So yes I would get her some nitro for like a few weeks than cut it if they start flowering
