This Friday will make 8 weeks since my plant sprouted. It will make about 4 weeks of flowering and I can't see any trichomes on it except for a few on the calyxes. Is this normal? The buds on it are very small. I had expected a faster grow since their site says 6-8 weeks. Any ideas if there is a problem, or if I'm just being too impatient?
Need more info. What's your setup? (lights, soil, pot size, nutrients) Grow room temperature? Are you checking for trichomes with a microscope? Pics would also help.
I'm using the aerogarden 7 right now with an extra 100 watts of CFLs. I only have this one plant growing in it. I'm using the aerogarden nutrients as the base since this is my first time, but I also have some AN Bloom and Big Bud that I started using after flowering. I don't have a ppm or pH yet, but it's on the way. Temp stays about 75 in closet growspace. I checked for trichomes with a 20x magnifying glass.
Thats your problem. You wont get those frosty huge buds with cfl in an aerogarden maybe a few grams of bud. If you want those huge dank nugs u need hid lighting
So lights are probably the main problem? I'm trying to get some HID lights, but I don't have the money yet.
