Night Owl

  1. I'm a severe night owl. During the day I feel unproductive and borderline unmotivated. But once it gets dark out I am wide awake ready for anything. I absolutely hate the mornings. I am way more active at night. I do my workouts at like 10pm or even later. The only thing that sucks is I can't eat too much because if I go to bed with a lot of food in my stomach I feel shitty. Plus it just isn't healthy and you actually put on weight.

I'm sure I'm not the only one :D

  2. I'm a night owl too man. I stay up til at least 4 am every night, and sleep the mornings away. Fuck the morning! And I don't work til evenings anyways :smoke:

Night time just seems more peaceful to me, I love just relaxin at night. Smokin a bowl to myself and listenin to good music.

  3. I dig nights. I don't even get home from work till around midnight. But the part that sucks is that I dig mornings too. Like, early mornings. Normally I work 2nd shift, but sometimes I fill in and work 1st which means I wake up around 4am. Cruising down the highway as the sun rises is pretty awesome, plus there's rarely much traffic that early so I can usually just set cruise control.

I worked 3rd shift for 2 years before moving to 2nd. I liked staying up all night, but going to bed when the sun's up just sucks.

  4. Every few months I switch back and forth from being up late at night to getting up before 8 am. My internal clock gets messed up easily, so if I'm up late one night then it will repeat all week. It's frustrating.

  5. I hate going to bed when the suns coming up. Not sure what it is but it ruins me for the next day. But the nights are just so serene to me. Especially in the summer. I'll sit outside my house and just listen to the crickets and look at the stars.

I especially love just how calm it is. I'll go for a quiet drive through town and I love to look at the houses with their little lights that line the driveways and especially houses that have nice landscaping. The town next to me is insanely rich people with houses 1m+ and I love to drive through and look at how calm it is.

  6. Yeah I feel great, wide awake and alert at night. When the sun starts coming up I don't want to go to sleep, so I stay up for the rest of the day.
Not all the time, but i usually stay up till 2. I always say I'm going to start going to bed early so I can feel great during the day, but I never want to go to bed early.

  7. 6 am i think its time to go to bed

  8. i usually am but im trying to change that now. and i kinda have. ive actually been enjoying the days now. i went to bed at 7pm last night lol woke up at 4 this morning (wish i had some weed for 4:20 wake n bake). ive been feeling better too for some reason. i guess having breakfast just makes the day better, ive been eating less too because of it which is awesome because im trying to lose weight. but yeah for the past like 3 years ive been a night person. a lot of the time waking up at like 3 and going to bed at like 4am.

but yeah it took me like 2 weeks of shitty sleep patterns (some nights with no sleep at all) to get to this point though.

  9. not true, it's just uncomfortable for digestion to go to bed with a too-full stomach.

i've determined that time is bullshit. i'm usually awake at around 3 or 4 in the morning, maybe take a nap around 7 or 8, up again by 9, possible nap during the afternoon (1 or 2) and in bed by 10 (earlier lately since i've been sick). repeat.

  10. Same here man. Unfortunately work/school force me to wake up around 6 AM every day. :( Before I used to go to sleep around 3 AM and wake up at 12. Fuck mornings!

  11. Mornings smell so fucking good

  12. Yea. I've just noticed that if I eat before bed I will digest at a much slower rate and I just feel uncomfortable. I just save the hunger for a nice ass breakfast :D.

I used to do what's called the Uberman sleep schedule. Which is simply taking a 20 minute nap every 4 hours. Once I got used to it I had an extra 20 hours or so to my day and I got a lot of stuff done. I had to stop and go back to normal schedule when I joined the Army. It sucked haha. But since I'm out I may consider starting it up again.

  13. What does sun be..? :confused_2:
