Night Light Blunder--Late Flowering, too little too late??

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by Socal Doug, Sep 11, 2019.

  1. Gang-

Posted a thread last night on the realization my "accent" lighting (4 hrs/nite after sundown) in my backyard has prolonged veg stage. Now I find myself, well, bummed. Bummed about not noticing the lighting effects sooner, and now the lost time (plants have been outdoors since June 30).

All are in FF soil, and I have been feeding FF Go Big early on, then FF Tiger Bloom the last 6 weeks or so and now finally just molasses with Ph balanced water. All watering is done at night at 830-9. All plants get 12 cups total, 6 cups followed by 6 more 30 or so minutes later. Last week it was really hot so they all got a splash mid-day.

All are in great health I think, rather stretchy, but ready to go, just much later/taller than I planned and hoped. I am unsure of the respective strains (i bought pups in March and was told they're white widow) but as time has passed I have no idea which is which, fyi. I have attached images 1-6 as that's how I identify w/ them in my yard for any comments or suggestions.

    #2-Has the droops.

#4, 5, 6-Should I cut those tall shoots down about 6" or just let them go? Will it hurt anything in general if cut?

All the rest seem ready to rock, but rather late in the season. I do live in Socal, so I am hoping for mild temps and no rain til M-Nov. That's when I hope/think they will be ready for harvest, God Willing.

Thoughts, advice and shared past experiences are all welcome.

    TIA-

    Doug

    PS-Hopefully images upload properly

  2. Welcome in Doug
They'll be fine. Since we get no real freezing temps we can flower outside all winter long. I routinely run 4 sets to harvest per year.
Jan 1st = Harvest, Set out vegged plants. Take cuts off vegged plants for clones
    March 15th = Same
    June 1st = Same
    Oct 15th = Same.

Myself, Sit-N-spin, Doc. M, Papa Puff, and several more all live and grow in So Cal.
