HEY NIFTY! Sorry to hear about the mites, I too am going through some pests. Finally getting rid of these bastards. You plants are still looking good! Keep your head up brotha!
Hey, Lord! I've heard good and bad about them. It came down to price for me. I've only otherwise grown under CFLs or my current veg light, a 150 watt TruLite LED. So far so good with the Mars Hydro! What's your secret?! I hope the mid flower foliar sprays aren't damaging. I'm taking it in stride and I have much to learn. The mites will teach me.
Remember those outdoor ladies? My expectations and attention have remained low for the outdoor girls since I put them in the ground. But it's actually looking promising! This bud is about 4ft up on a 7ft monster. It's actually the mother to the clone I have in flower now.
Photo dump. Day 38 of flower OGK clone Day 24 of flower OGK from seed. Oregon Mystery somewhere in the first week of flower. Flower overview. Veg. I wish I had room to throw the Shark Attack into flower! She's getting big! Maybe since I have a clone of her vegging I should throw the OM outside and put the SA into flower?! I officially went 3 for 3 on the Shark Attack clones! All are throwing roots! And two will get 3 gallon homes soon. Peace!
A few things worth noting. The Oregon Mystery mom went to a cozy outdoor home and I put the Shark Attack (Skunk #1xWhite Widow) by Dinafem into flower! Also staked up the OGK. Really stoked about this strain. I want to rename it so bad! What was wrong with Skunk Widow? Or Albino Skunk?! And here's veg. ï¸SA clones, ï¸OM clone, ï¸OGK clone.
You're both right, but, I've got'a do the best I can with what I've got until November. Then I might be looking at an Amare LED. The OGK will be out in 4 weeks. Just in time to throw the Shark Attack right under the Mars to bulk up. Then I'm gonna start keeping my plants smaller. Gonna try to anyways.
Looking good man. Im lovin the trich pics! How did you get so close? Cant wait for the swell to finish...
Any advice or cautions for a guy wanting to swap his light cycle? Would it be better to go half a cycle lights out, or half a cycle lights on? Right now lights come on at 6:30pm. I want them to come on at 5am instead. How much do you think this will effect my flowering ladies? And which way is going to hurt them the least? My thinking is leaving them dark until my new lights on time will cause less stress than having the lights on for 22 hours. Anyone have experience with having to do this? I also ordered my dry tent, new clippers, and some Broveda packs!
Those Boveda packs are great I love them they are a must have in my book. As for your lighting question I have not a clue. Sorry lol
From what I've gathered, is better to give vegging plants a longer LIGHT cycle. When you give them a longer dark cycle, they will be urged to flower. Just my 2 pennies
If your plants are vegging, give them the extra light. If they are in flower, give them the extra dark. That extra light in flower will always mess em up!
