NFL Vs College Football

Discussion in 'General' started by skaman, Sep 10, 2007.

  1. I personally don't like NFL football at all anymore. The guys don't really even care about winning or trying their best. They get paid no matter how they play. College football is where its at. Playing for your school and actually having fun playing the game and trying to win.

  2. Of course, + more faster people and they actually try. No matter how good the team is. Some NFL players don't try and do crime and get paid plenty of money. NFL is also very commercial which is annoying. Florida State is where its at!

  3. I like NFL football, but college is much more intense imo.

  4. I don't like watching College football..yeah i agree it's quicker, but i don't have any background of the teams, players, coaches etc.

I enjoy the press NFL gets, too, with the allll the coverage they give.

  5. I like College Football more too. It's more exciting, more electric, and more full of passion. It's also more diverse.

I like the NFL but it's not as good as cfb.

  6. college football rules.... a lot more passion,,,, ( go gators)

a little something i found on my football search,,,, '' comedy is the remedy to the souls sickness''

  7. ^^^ Lmfao!!!

Also, I agree with majority. College football owns. I would go into detail but I would be typing for nearly an hour explaing myself. I watch the NFL, but there is nothing better on earth than college football....maybe pussy and beer, but thats it. :D

  8. ]

Umm... pussy beer and WEED. But watchign cfb high is the SHIT. THere are so many more big plays and when you see one high you get so excited.

I absolutely LOVE watching intense physical sports like boxing and cfb when I'm high.

  9. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ so true !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. I'm an NFL fan, myself. College ball confuses me, the systems and stuff.

  11. I guess I'm in the minority here

I like NFL football a lot more...maybe it's just because college football isn't as big in the Northeast.

Patriots fan for life...but right now I'm watching the Giants vs. Dallas

  12. college football no doubt, i might have a biased opinion tho being from gainesville and having UF 15 minutes down the street from me but i can honestly say theres nothing like being at the swamp with 90,000 drunk people covered in orange and blue screaming your lungs out, its like my church

  13. 45 miles from me,,,, no doubt the swamp rules,,,, and the town on a '' big win night'',,,,,,,,,, is the place to be,,,,,,,

  14. I'm not coming on here to bash college football because I love college football too for a lot of the reasons on here, but I do prefer the NFL & I figure atleast one person should offer another side to this arguement..

College football isnt faster, its just that the difference in speeds between the quicker players & the slower players is greater, The NFL is much faster, its just that everyone is so fast its seems slower..if that makes sense
& college has more excitement & big plays for kind of the same reasons, the best players are playing against some people that are much worse so its easier for them, in the NFL everyone is so good they struggle more & its more even.
plus theres places you can look in the NFL to see passion & heart, watch Brett Favre, he plays with more passion than anyone in college, also the Baltimore Ravens defense the past 5 or so years has played with great passion & intensity

..but yea I love college football, Go Hokies! :hello:

  15. they dont try their best and care about winning? NFL careers are by far the shortest in all of sports and injuries alone are costly. those players play their hearts out because if they dont well its just as easy to release them the next season. and do you know how hard they have to try to get to that point where they're in the NFL? just getting there is a life long accomplishment i dont care who you are or what potential you have. the NFL is so hard on the body compared to NCAA which is the exact reason why most dont even come close to making it. you dont know what you're talkin about

  16. I feel there is more passion in college football because they aren't just playing for a paycheck.

  17. and yea college football can be more exciting for those reasons. you have players who are FAR better and faster than other players in the NCAA where as in the NFL you got a bunch of fast players with only the elite ones standing out

  18. College, no doubt. I don't think it's that NFL players don't want to win as much... but I know for damn sure they don't care as much when they lose, except Playoff time. But in the highest level of College Football, it's Playoffs all season. All the top teams basically play throughout the entire season knowing that if they lose just one game, they're basically out of the National Championship picture and will need some help getting in. It requires teams to strive for perfection, not just a record decent enough to make it into the Playoffs.

But there is no doubt that the NFL is played at a much more athletic and sophisticated level... if you think the NFL is slower, you got eyeball issues. Like, Dready_Nesta12 said, it's because everyone on the field is fast that the play evens itself out. But of course, the unfairness of College Football allows for superstars to shine and look so much greater than the competition.

Now, as soon as they get a Playoff system in College Football, it will be the greatest and purest form of the best sport ever invented. Seriously, what sport combines pure athleticism and strategy on even remotely the level of Football?
