Yeah, they're doing The Who and all that, but what's with the Geezer fest? No doubt I love the Who, but we had Bruce Springsteen 09', Tom Petty 08', Rolling Stones 06'. All of whom I was more worried about their health then their performance. Anyways. I heard rumors flying around that Chris Johnson (Titans RB) wants to race Usain Bolt. Why not move that to halftime. I'd rather watch that then The Who..sorry. Your thoughts on the potential race and/or what they could do for halftime shows.
Well, the NFL and the broadcasting networks have been a little hesitant to put a young female in the spotlight ever since the purported "wardrobe malfunction" of Janet Jackson... I don't think it's a bad thing though, the past few years we've seen some solid acts. Paul McCartney was a really good half-time show, too.
meh, they have to choose an artist that will appeal to just about everyone, especially older viewers. i'd watch that race though.
MTV used to do the halftime shows (the one year was sick with Aerosmith and Nelly) but ever since the top slipped off like Janet at the Superbowl the relationship ended..and i guess they look at it as now the worst case scenario is bruce springsteens man boobs pop out but a hot girls tit-tays WILL NOT

I find Halftime shows are a good time to take a shit, or load another bowl..but maybe if they had something interesting for once. Like the Usain Bolt/Chris Johnson Race..I'd watch that.
Robert Daltry can't sing anymore so yea I won't be listening to The Who... As for The Boss, I actually thought it was good. I didn't start listening to him until recently so his songs weren't fucked out to me, and his cockslam of the camera was hilarious. They need to stop with the geezers and try to go after more modern bands, they kind of missed the boat on The Strokes and The Whitestripes prime but they should still try to go after bands like that...I'd love to hear Soma, This Is It, Reptilla, etc by The Strokes or Jack White going crazy on guitar.
