Ok, now that that's outta the way, here's my question. I have the sundayticket package from directv. I'm thinking about getting Superfan (www.heybuttercup.com). Anyone have it? Worth the extra $100? How's that redzone channel? Anyway, lemme know by next Sunday if you think I should get it.

  2. i would say no, but thats just because it aint good to be sittin on ur ass watchin that much friggin football, go play football or somethin instead when it aint on regular tv

  3. some of the games they play on local broadcast are boring, if u are a die hard football fan i say hey go for it, but 100 a month is kinda steep.

  4. Nah, it's 100 for the whole season. I am a die hard fan, and I play FF and probably would do better if I saw more of the games. Since I posted this I realized that the only way to get the games in hi-def using directv is to get sunday ticket and superfan. That kinda clinches it. I just bought (like 3 months ago) a 67" DLP HDTV. Time to use it for something other than gaming! So, if anyone has superfan, can you tell me how the audio works for the 8 games in 1 channel? Is it silent, or a mix, or what?

  5. I need that, it sucks balls being a Patriots fan in Broncos country.

  6. If you're a diehard fan then maybe, but if you're already in your favorite team's local market, then I think it would be a waste. It's like "Wow! All the NFL games!" But when you find yourself sitting through the 49ers vs. Cleveland, I think that would get quite boring.

  7. Lol! No, I wouldn't sit through that... but superfan has that thing where you can order a 3 minute game. Like, they take as many games as you want, edit out commercials and boring shit, and port it to your DVR. I am a diehard fan. And *shhhhh* I gamble. So far it's been a lot of sports bar action when I want to see the HD games, and I'm really, truly, completely sick of huddling in the back alley near the dumpster smoking a joint during commercial breaks like a common addict. I think that watching all the games at home in my skivvies with my Volcano is worth the $100 for HD games.
