any fruit and vegetable waste and garden waste. lots of bannanas will be good for the veg stage

 

A mix of green material - fairly obvious, and brown material, potato peelings, tea leaves, coffee grounds, dead leaves.

Mix it all together and leave it for a year, mixing often.
