Newly discovered glass blower!

  1. So I was looking for a way to improve my generic 12mm slide bowl glass bong. Enter this new glass blower, on his site I found and ordered a 12mm - 14mm 6 slit shower head (no bulge so it can still fit with the grommet) down stem that he is custom blowing. Here is the item he is modifying:
14mm Glass on Glass to 12mm Grommet Adapter $15 for sale
It is being blown and shipped to me in Montreal for $24 :)
Ill post a review when I get it :D:hello:

  2. You spent $24 to upgrade a rubber grommet bong? Would be wiser to save up $75ish for a nice little glass on glass beaker.

  3. It's not about the piece. I have other glass set-ups this one just happens to be my favourite :) I wanted a way to be able to use some of my other 14mm bowls with my favourite bong (I have some interesting bowls). And because it is a generic rubber grommet glass bong, I knew that unless I could change the down stem there wasn't a whole lot I could do to it. I may actually buy a pre cooler that I can share across set-ups at some point.... Hmmmm..... :/ :D

  4. Whatever floats the holy arc that is commanded by Noah. I actually kinda want to get a grommet bong so I can play with it.

  5. I enjoy it -- kinda like the old car that nobody understands why you love so much :p But if this set-up works nice could make grommet bongs so much nicer!

  6. I basically did the same things with my grommet bong I converted it to gong and Its actually a much better piece now for it b/c it hits smoother and there is a lot less drag plus you can get a downstem that's diffused.

  7. Did you ever try it with a pre cooler? How was it? Suction loss?

I did try it with a precooler and there is a small amount of suction loss but it is barely noticeable but really if you get a nice diffused down stem and put some ice in it that should be most of the diffusion you need in my opinion and as for keeping it clean I would suggest glass screens but that's just me everyone has their own preference.

  9. Cool thanks for that. I generally don't use a screen, I prefer to pull-through. But since he is blowing me a closed - end 6 slot shower head I might need to use one as pulling the downstem out will be a pain... Any suggestions for good screens?

Not sure why, but I really enjoyed this comment lol

  11. It's true. My gf doesn't understand why I enjoy it so much :p

  12. So I got the stem - and my god did it ever make a world of difference! It is perfectly blown and fits into my 12mm slide bong perfectly, but adapts to 14mm perfectly as well! Now I just need to get used to using screens.
