First off, I would like to introduce myself as a newbie here and how inspiring this community has been in sparking my own personal interest to start my first grow. My goal is to start a Stealth CFL grow with the general setup being made of a 19.99 walmart ClosetMaid 2 door organizer. So Far: -The inside has been padded with a combination of windshield visor/HVAC Tape/Chrome reflective duck tape -I have 2 120mm fans 90+CFM low db, 1 intake, 1exhaust In the Mail: -1 125w Lotus multi spec grow light 6500k + 2700k -Fox Farm Nutes trio pack -Ph Kit -4 6500k 23W CFL bulbs for veg -4 2700k 23 w CFL bulbs for fruit/flower Plans: I plan on placing the Lotus bulb top dead center of the entire box and the using the additional bulbs 2 on either side of the lotus during veg/flower depending on the current stage of the plant (IF I GET THAT FAR FOR MY FIRST GROW LOL) I plan on not allowing the plant to get more than 2 ft tall as i will either low stress train or force the plant to flower by switch to the 12/12 cycle when ready. The strain that i have chosen for this process is feminized northern lights X from Marijuana Seeds, Over 1,000 Marijuana Seeds which comes with 2 free feminized seeds. Although I believe I will have roughly 10,000+ lumen for both veg/flower, I think im going to stick to only growing one plant at a time. Doing research, i've read several posts about the 5k lumen per square foot rule so i figured that i would increase my yield by choosing to grow only one plant at a time(correct me if wrong). My box is about 2 square foot. In order to keep my plant short, i plan on using risers and a 2-2.5 gallon pot to initial start the plant close to light while in the first phase and slowly moving it down to avoid stretching. Once at the desired height, I will force flowering to keep the plant short. I have rigged my fans up with an old laptop ac/dc converter and they circulate alot of air. I will also use a clip on fan inside of the case to promote stem sturdiness. This is my first grow and I'm hoping that it will go well as planned. A couple things I'm concerned about is that i have no real shading towards the back of the box in which it will be close to a wall. I guess i will try adding some type of mesh filter for the intake fan to keep dust etc... from entering the box. In order to seal the front where the doors open, i plan to purchase rubber inserts in a T shape as the back is completely sealed. Here is what i have so far below:
