I have always heard keep the mother plant alive and bud front eh clones. i was wondering how you keep the mother alive and not have a plant that is 10ft tall. Also i heard something about if you switch the day time. from 24hrs a day to 20 hours a day you can get your pot to grow 9 days in 7 like16/4 and then 10/10 I am working on a grow. i have grown plenty of times just always had to get rid of them before they are done and now i am ready. growing early misty, c99, master kush, blockhead. Also i use flouros, now how long does it take for a decent plant that would be grown under hps/mh for lets say 5 months budding and all. how long would it take for a flours to reach that. i am using 4ft aquirum and i do believe soft white. I am going to try that LST method. I currently only have 1 light on them cuz they are small. and i dont really have a room just a clostet.

You can keep the mother plant alive indefinetly by keeping it on an 18/6 cycle while the clones grow up and flower. 10ft tall is excessive, thats a prety damn big house I'm confused to your question, during vegetation your plants should only be on 18/6 cycle, while they're still sprouting 24h cycle under a flourescent I donno the rest Good luck

Hey i read a few things on bonsai its damn near the same thing. ok u gat ur mother plant or plant u want to make mother u keep her at 18/6 cut off clones to veg out, veg flower the clones and take more clones off that original plant. keep the cycle going and u have a prepetual grow harvesting every 2 months or however long it takes for ur strain to flower. but at the same time every time u cut clones or just cut bak a few big branches, top, or fim the plant ur making it bushier. i saw this picture of a plant it couldnt have been more than 10in. tall and it had to have like a fukin hundred branches and a stem the size of 2 of ur fingers. it was some serious shit, a dedicated grower. well theres my 2 cents.
Just remember: You can always replace the mother with one of her clones if it gets too big. They will be genetically identical. Just wait until the clone is rooted and starting to develop a bit before you get rid of the mother (by get rid, of course, I mean flower her
