  1. so I'm about to start my first hydro grow. I've got everything ready to go, but I'm still left wondering how far does the water level need to be from the net basket? second question; when changing my water, what do I do with the plants in baskets while I change the reservoir water? Tips/suggestions/advice are all welcome. Help a brotha out!

  2. Are you doing deep water culture in 5 gallon buckets with a net basket? If so get a second bucket for nutrient changes..... with deep water culture the Roots have to be in the water so when the root Mass gets bigger you can let the water get lower but in the beginning you need to have the water level all the way up to the roots

  3. Be careful, I was you 4 months ago and I got root rot. You have to be extremely careful when doing dwc your first time.
My tip to you, save up $300 or make a chiller it's the ONLY way to really do dwc while still having a life. As long as you have a chiller you'll be ok
