I recently planted two mj plants. They have been growing for about 3 weeks and have started yellowing at the tips and drooping. The soil that I am using is not fertilized. I think that I have been over watering the plant so I recently took a short break from watering 3 days and I have changed the lighting to 18/6. I am going to keep it at 18/6 and see if the situation improves with less watering. I also plan to start checking the ph. BTW I am using flouros. What is the difference between 24/7 and 18/6 and should I go back to 24/7? Also, in one plant I noticed 5 little sproutlings growing on the ouside dirt of the main plant. Are these new plants or part of the main plant. What should I do. Thank You so much, Your forum has been very helpful.
If you aren't using any fertilizer and they are yellowing then my first answer would be nitrogen deficiency. However, they are probably deficient in all nutes. Yeah checking the pH is indeed good. I just recently started and it really helps knowing what pH the soil is at. 24 hour light will just make your plant grow faster. However, your plants are probably limited by nutrients. Sproutlings?? Pics??
