So it looks like my plant is slowly dying....im a noob grower and this is my first grow. Its probably nute burn but im not too sure. Over watering might be a problem but i learned from that and now watering when soil is dry. The bottom leaves are slowly dying off. Some of the top leafs tips are starting to turn yellow like the bottom ones did. Here are some pics: X •Smoke good kush• X
Looks like there isnt enough oxygen to the soil Sent from my LG-LS995 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I dont think your plant needs nutes so it could be nute burn. Is there a hole on the bottom of the pot for drainage?
PH is very important. What kind of soil is that? Have you added nutes? How strong and what kind of nutes if so? Its probably young enough to not have needed nutes added especially if its hot soil. Hot as in high content of nutrients. What kind of light and how close is it. Do you have a fan on it? It may just be the pic but the bottom of the stem looks weak
My guess from exp is overwatering. Looking at your soil I can tell it is not set for high drainage. When you transplant use a proper pot and mix more perlite into your soil. This will allow better drainage and let your soil dry out a bit better. As far as the nut burn I would cut what your giving it in half until the plant is bigger http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/895565-saddest-grow-ever.html/page-10#entry20749648
I have a PC fan blowing on it. Im using white CFL. My soil is a mix of merical grow( ik its horrible but thats what i have until i find time and a ride to the store) X •Smoke good kush• X
Miracle grow soil already has nutes in it, seedlings don't like a lot of nutes so adding more to what it already has more than enough of can't help. Might want to shift to straight water for a bit until they recover some and allow the soil to dry out between watering. As someone else already said roots need oxygen. There are worse things you can do to a seedling than miracle grow, but not many that they'll survive Shift to a better soil when you can, but you seem to already know that.
I have a tiny bit of foxfarm soil and some sta green soil. I dont have enough of either to replace the mercle grow. I guess any soil is better that MG X •Smoke good kush• X
