Last week i started my first ever grow. the set up: 2x68L storage boxes (foil lined) 4x30w CFL's (2 2700k, 2 6500k) B&Q general compost 2x90mm computer fans exhaust, 1x circulation, passive inlet growth technology nutes (not started get) seed is Black widow x big bud As you can tell, this is a real budget set up. Its all using basic stuff and everything is Macgyvered together. Havnt got any actual grow box pics as yet, but will get some. temps seem to be staying pretty stable and in the right range. watered for the first time yesterday, runoff was around 5, water going in was around 7, so i'll need to up that next time i think. I didnt use any perlite and in hindsight, should have, but it's too late now really. Growth seems to be going really well anyway, here's a few pics: Popping her head out a couple of days ago and now, a week from planting, 9 days from seed. What do you guys think? any pointers? She seems to be laying really low, hardly any stretch at all, in-fact the tips of the large leaves re nearly touching the soil. Is that much droop something i should be worried about? cheers.
