New York - Blunts being banned?

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by J.Wallace, Feb 15, 2010.

  1. A few weeks ago my buddy told me that Mayor Bloomberg is looking to ban all sales of blunts and blunt wraps? I've seen nothing change in stores, so I don't know if its taken effect yet, but has anybody else from New York heard this yet? If this has been talked about, I apologize but I found nothing on the forums so I figured I'd throw a quick thread out there.

  2. Lol. There's going to be some riots up in NY.

  3. Lol, yeah. I don't know if its true or not, but the person I heard it from is not somebody that makes up this stuff, so I take his word for it. If its true or not, I'm still trying to find that out.

  4. I live in Jersey, I can totally see it happen. In fact, I could see Jersey following suit shortly.

  5. Lol whaaat? This better not be true.....

  6. Seriously? I want to know whether this is true or not.
That's crazy, even though I don't smoke blunts, but you could probably still order some off the Internet if you really wanted.

  7. my cuzens from nyc and he was telling me the same the the other day but dont know if its true

  8. IDK man i havent herd anything yet, that would be some bullshit. I don't indulge in them to often but still like why the fuck. I hate the way our gov works, its a democracy right? so it should be what the people want right?

THEN WHY THE FUCK DOES THE GOV TELL THE PEOPLE WHATS GOOD FOR THEM!

  9. The gas stations will be flooded with questions like
"Uh, can I get some papers? :)"

    If its true of course.

  10. Yeah, its pretty crazy. I'm sure you could still order them online, but I still see them in stores, so nothing has changed yet. I heard this maybe a month ago, so I don't know whats going on. I don't smoke blunts very often, nor do I even know how to roll, but I really enjoy blunts with some buddies. Nothing like sitting in a circle with some buds and passing that blunt to the left :smoking:

  11. I don't think they will do that. If that is the case why haven't they shut cigs down ya know? I mean I don't think they will stop something that makes them a bunch of money on all tax.

  12. They might ban blunt wraps, but not cigars. Obama signed a law to ban flavored wraps and papers. If they ban dutches, games, and swishers, they'll probably have to ban cigarettes as well. That's not gonna happen

  13. Yeah, it was blunt wraps that were going to be banned.

  14. Yea it's only flavored papers and wraps.
Honestly I do see a concern, kids do like those damp flavored wraps. But maybe they should just not sell them to children?

There will still be cigars, which is IMO a better choice if you want a good blunt.

  15. i dont think Bloomberg would do that. he smokes too.

  16. Wait so are Dutch's going to be banned or just wraps?

If it's both I will go buy like 3 box's of them

  17. @Mr.Burnsalot

Well, my friend was talking about wraps, not Dutch's. I forgot to put that in my original post because I forgot he was talking about just Wraps.

  18. I heard that the government was trying to ban all flavored cigar wraps. So all those platinum, true blunts, crown royal blunts are going to be bannedd once the store sells out of them. Dutches are safe though and that's all I care about

  19. Ya'll better stock the hell up.
