New years resolotion

Discussion in 'General' started by h2xhardcore, Jan 1, 2013.

  1. Cool my jets, lengthen my fuse, be nicer, less volatile and explosive.

  2. Got my black belt years ago so my resolution will be to go back to dojo and teach youngsters that its not okay to start fights outside class cuz they think they can beat ass. I see too many wannabe karate fighters out there leaving their dojo in shame. Shame on them. Also to win the world TKD tournament

  3. Save more.
    Don't be such a pushover.
    Be more fit.

-Find a nice lady friend who I can be proud of

  5. Ive been working out for around 2 years seriously but I never took my diet that serious. So I will be focusing 100% on my diet. Oh and also im starting nofap. Good luck to all on their resolutions.

  6. Man don't get this thread shut down because of that.

You can't mention anything except for weed, caffeine, tobacco, or alcohol on this site. Not by name, not by using the term "unmentionable." Nothing. Just leave it out of the discussion entirely. Threads are closed all the time because people can't follow that simple rule.

  7. My goals:

    Get a job.
    Apply/go to college.
Bang/Date the girl I'm talking to.
    Get a girlfriend.
Work on getting a 6 pack.

  8. I don't believe in em. If I'm motivated to do something, I'm not gonna wait for a certain day to do it.

  9. be on my way to transfer to a university.
quit smoking cigs, this will be my last pack, down to 5 cigs.

been thinking more about what im gonna do with the rest of my life.

Damn!! Congrats man! You must have been practicing BJJ for a long time. Takes a ton of dedication to even get to brown! I've been purple for two years now, the time to upgrade is drawing near..

Edit: just noticed that you said you've been at brown for a year. What, do you practice like everyday of the week? I don't think that's even possible within a year where I train.

  11. lewl. i r bad.

  12. Been training since I was 12 (25 now).

The only requirement to move from brown to black, besides proficiency of course, is that you have had the belt for a year. From purple to brown it's 1.5 years at any point after you turn 18 according to the IBJJF.

Of course, not all dojos adhere to the IBJJF guidelines strictly. The gyms I have trained with have all been gi and by-the-book, though, which has been nice.
