Ok, so I got this new vape from a buddy of mine and its the first vape I've owned, so bare with me on this- I don't know the make and model hopefully you guys can get an idea from the pix. But I'm really just wondering what temp it's ideal for this type of vape for burning bud? twitter.com/ImKickedOut Instagram.com/abakethegreat
Well.. its pretty much preference. BTW when you vape your goal is to NOT burn the bud. Start out at around 280 and work your way up. When you are done vaping your bud should be light brown (golden) or dark brown. Never black. I dont know the name of the vape but there are many like those. Im sure it will get the job done.
That is a Chinese knockoff of a VaporBros. The digital display is no where near accurate and the temperature will fluctuate all over the place. Best thing you can do is to start with the dial at 12:00 and start off with a medium draw. The faster you draw, the cooler the temp will be. The slower you draw, the hotter the temp will be. You want your spent bud to be between a golden brown and a dark coffee brown. No black. If you find that your bud is turning black, either draw faster or lower the temp. If you find that your bud is not producing vapor and it is still green, draw slower or turn up the dial. Do one or the other, but not both at the same time. This way, you will be able to find the sweet spot for your particular draw speed. Again, the digital display on these types of vapes are totally worthless and their readouts mean absolutely nothing.
There is no "12:00". Here's a better pic of the dial: twitter.com/ImKickedOut Instagram.com/abakethegreat
When I turn it on the "set" light is blinking until I push it, then it stays solid green. twitter.com/ImKickedOut Instagram.com/abakethegreat
Honestly guys, I've had an ssv and I've hit a similar vape to the OP's. The ssv is much better but the knock off isn't a bad vaporizer.
In general, they are a bad vaporizer in that the temp display isn't even close to being accurate, and the temps can fluctuate all over the place, and we won't even get into the possible toxic materials that "could" be in the vapor path. You may have lucked out and got one that works, but for the most part, they're pretty bad. Not trying to bash the OP's vape, but I definitely want to warn anyone else that may be thinking about getting one of these vapes that they should look elsewhere.
