New transplant but when to feed??

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by alterego, Sep 2, 2007.

  1. I have succesfully germinated 2 seeds and have just transplanted them into there final pots. Could someone be kind enough to tell me when to start feeding as i am unsure and dont want to do any harm. If it makes a difference im using coco (coir) block and coco feed A + B . any help greatly appreciated :D

  2. so are you implying that you are not using the coco feed yet? plants will need nutrients in the near future, but start them off with very mild doses. if you have a tds/ppm meter that will make measuring the solution much easier. and finally, i would start the solution at around 300 ppm and build up to anywhere between 6 and 800 ppm for veg.

if you have anything else to ask, ill be glad to help you with the knowledge i have. i'm no expert but i have learned many things the hard way if you know what i mean.

  3. I was informed that the jiffy cubes i used had nutrients in them to get me through to the sprouting stage and now thats hapened ! So the best bet for me is to start off with a weak food / water mix and build up to full strength slowly ?? it states that the doseage is to be 6ml feed per 500ml water and thats feed a+b combined . Hope this makes sense to everyone else lol
