New to vaping, just got DA BUDDHA!!

  1. Hello everyone,
I'm a 15+ year smoker but recently converted to vapping. I'm trying to be more responsible when I smoke instead of having back to back session, maybe something like 2 or 3 sessions a day. With da Buddha, about how much green would you use per session, how many hits, and has vaping lowered or raised your tolerance. I know I'm rambling but I'm baked right now lol!

  2. Maybe I am crazy, but I've found that when I started vaping it was more potent then smoking....

After only vaping for a while, a good bong snap got me RIPPED.

I do both now a days and I find the efficiency of it to be a bit over rated... but I guess that also kinda depends on how you pack and light a bowl.

In general it will save you at least some... but you wouldn't be too far off just treating it like any other smoking device. Pack about your normal sized bowl and go for it. Only real difference is your going to have to wait a bit while it warms up, and you need to make sure your herb is relatively dry and ground as fine as possible. It also helps produce better hits from the get go if you load it up and let it bring the wand and bowl up to temp before you hit it.

As far as how many hits and how do you know when its done... Its done when you feel like your not getting hits anymore. Kinda like smoking a pipe with a screen and telling "is it cash?" with out dumping it out and making sure the other side doesn't have some left.. You get a sense for when its done by taste/feel & sight of what you blow out/if hits don't seem to be doing anything any more.
Similar to dumping the bowl out and making sure its all white ash, you can dump the wand out and make sure its evenly browned. How brown is personal preference but you can go to what people sometimes refer to as looking like coffee grounds, but you will get a slight burnt popcorn taste if you don't leave a tiny bit of lighter brown/dark green. If there is much green left mix it all around a bit and suck it back into the wand to finish, upping the temp if you need/want.

A lot of it is personal preference. It is definitely a tastier and more enjoyable experience to take hits with fresh herb at somewhat lower temperatures, you get a certain taste at higher temps if your trying to extract everything possible. Not horrible, but not necessarily desirable.
People like different effects, as lower temperatures do not vaporize as much CDB and with leave you with a more up beat sativa-ish high, while higher temps are needed for a more couch lock stoned.

You made a good choice of starter gear, have fun :)

  3. Thanks for the reply. That helps.
