New to the forums, couple of questions

    As the title states I'm new to this site, just registered. I've come on here once or twice to look some stuff up, and I thought might as well join. I have two questions,

    1. Does the Puffalot in Kingston have any 'pre coolers' I think they're called, its like a bowl with a perc in it, planning to use it with my acrylic piece, and any suggestions on if they work well or not?

    2. I have a huge ass coffee grinder, got it from my grandmas house, that I use to bust my weed, and it's got a big bowl area, with set blades inside, I can't take them out. To top that off, the entire bowl is just lined with crystal, it literally puffs out when I use the thing there is so much. The only thing is I have nothing to gather it with, no brushes or anything. Suggestions on how to get it?

    The first I can't help you with, but about the grinder, I suggest you stop using the coffee grinder, they waste a ton of weed and trichromes. But to get it out, if you can fit it in there, you can use one of those design toothpicks that are a sword and just scrape it off the sides.

    They waste a ton of weed? How does that work, it all stays inside the bucket part, not to be rude just curious. How do you chop your weed? And ill take a look around for some toothpicks, that could be a good idea.

    All the crystals that are in that grinder should have been in your joints.
    Therefor your joints are sub par compared to the quality they should be.
    Any hard plastic tool can be used to scrape and recover those crystal tho, they make a goood smoke.

    I used a small handheld steal grinder, it knocks off very little kief, ensuring my joints have all the good shit in them, not leaving much behind in the grinder.

    Thanks a lot Mastah, I always assumed that the crystal stuck to my fingers when I chopped, so I went with the grinder. Ill pick up a handheld next time I'm out then. Oh, and I can't roll a joint to save my life, I see you have tutorials and such? Teach me.

    When you said kingston, do you mean kingston ONtario?

    NEver been, so i cant help, but any headshop in canada should have precoolers (aka ashcatchers)... just make sure you get one that'll fit your piece.

    Get a Glass on Glass bong with a Ash Catcher/Precooler.. Fuck acrylic its sub par equipment...

    Get a grinder with Kief catcher. Comes in like four parts.

    ToTheDome speaks the truth.

    Glass on glass bong w/ a 4 piece grinder is that way to go for any stoner.
    Ashcatchers arent a necessity but it is a great improvement (smoother tokes, and cleaner bongs).

    Wash the top of your grinder with iso, filter then wait to dry. Then boom, you'll have QWISO

    Ive got a glass on glass, with a perc in it, but its damn hard to clean, I got an acrylic when i was home for thanksgiving a couple nights ago, I had no qualms with it. What are the four parts to the grinder? All the ones ive seen were just two, a top and bottom with teeth. And would smoke shops be open on thanksgiving monday or w/e it is?

    I didn't mean weed, sorry, I meant to say they waste a lot of crystals, but you can easily recover them! Just use the toothpick to slide it across the blades and the inside walls of the grinder. To answer your question, I use a 4 piece sharpstone grinder. Its great, and it chops up the bud so perfectly. :)

    A good way to chop up your buds also is to put the weed in a shotglass and just go at it with scissors.

    And a four piece grinder has:
    1) the top
    2) the teeth
    3) weed container (has a screen for THC crystals to fall through)
    4) crystal catch

    The advantage of a 4 piece grinder is that you'll be able to save your kief (aka crystals) for another time. Some people dont like this concept, but when im running low on weed i love being able to get baked from a couple crystal tokes.

    And no, nothing was open yesterday... i learned that the hard way hahah im in dire need of some groceries...

    Broo, were on the sameee level. My meals yesterday consisted of my last hot pocket, half a slice of cold pizza, pineapple, and a whole lot of cereal. Good thing they're opened today, I gotta go get food.

    Also, bro, I really hope you've enjoyed the magic that is a kief joint. It's fantastic. A joint with just a little bit of bud and then the rest kief. <3 gets you to space.

    You're obviously going to need to obtain some tool to get the kief out. A toothbrush works great.

    Just got myself a grinder, an ash catcher, and some vanilla tasty puffs. Was an amazing bong hit, much smoother, bigger hit, and very tasty. Now the entire house thinks the place smells like black licorice, i dont know about the puffs anymore.
