I'm working with a 3ft x 3ft closet 6ft high. Someone told me that I can use a HPS 70 watt from begining to end - is this true? I've always had a green thumb outdoors but I recently got some good seeds from Dr. Chronic and would like to try an indoor grow so I can grow year round. I know how to sex and clone but need help on the lighting. Please be honest. Your friend Starvin Marvin
That light won't cover a 3x3 footprint adequately. I suggest you get a 400w HPS and match it with a conversion MH bulb, use the MH for vegging and the HPS for flowering. Line the walls with mylar or leave them alone -- if it's a finished closet the walls already should be painted flat white. Be sure to get some ventilation in and out of there for the plants to breathe and heat control.
