Alright I am going to get 10 seeds, from what I've seen and read, that should mean I should get about 5 different plastic containers, about 5-6 inches in diameter and plant the seeds, ok so how much light wattage will I need for this, and can I just buy a Metal Hallide bulb and use that throughout the process of the harvest and flowering and whatnot, It'd be lovely if someone could post me a link to the right bulb on a respectable site in their reply, dont go to any troulbe just if you happen to have had this same dilemma, by the way I'm going to be growing them indoors at my apartment, I'd say during the day it staysd about 72-74 in here, then at night goes down to about 62 or so cuase the door lets in a little cold, anyways they will be above my loft, there are many different interpretations of a loft but mine is just that above my bathroom cieling and closet there is about 4 feet from the cieling to the actual cieling of the entire room, maybe hard to understand but its a good place, also how much light are we talking, is this "keep you awake" light even if its just in the same room kind of. thanks guys, I'd really appreciate the help. i aint being funny m8 but i get a lot of pm's mostly from ppl askin the same things. its much easyer for me if u post ur questions here so that me and people like porkchop can help, as much as id like to teach the world to grow im afraid ther just aint enough hours in the day and i dont know everything there is to know about growing (yet) so the more people that pitch in the better for u. also other people reading this may b in the same kinda situ as u and they can learn from this aswell. thats what the internets all about aint it? that and porn. i did read ur pm and from what u say its not the ideal place to grow. u got shit loads of room but very limited hight at around 4ft high. that rules out big lights unless u can afford to air cool them. i dont think ucan. that leaves u with either going with fluros or small hps and training ur plants. ur gonna need pots, soil, fert, a desk fan, a ph test kit is a good idea, something to wall off an area to grow in like black n white plastic and u can use that on the floor to catch spills. gaffer tape, some hooks n chain to hang lights, a temp guage, a ball of string and seeds. white rhino is a good starter strain and if u read CWLs grow journal ur see that its a good plant for ur grow. that just leaves lights, if u got enough dolla left then id say a 250 hps and some clfs for starting seeds will do u well. if not then a couple of fluro shop lights will do the trick. for a starter grow id say get 2 lots of the twin tube 40w or 34w type. thats 160w or 136w. thats enough to grow a bit of nice bud and gives u the best use of ur low hight. with training or even a scrog ur yeald cud b quite respectable. you can also add more lights as u wish so u cud have a little factory goin on up ther if u wanted lol. by then tho u wud need a proper inline fan and carbon filter and we talkin propa money for them.
