Hey guys, so to be short and sweet about it I started my first time grow with a seed of purple candy, We started germination on the 6th of January and popped it into a rock well cube shortly after, The cube showed the seed pop around the 17th of January when we placed the cube into its soil medium. On Jan.21st leaves had sprouted and we started our light cycles with an oscillating fan. Around February fourth we got and set up our grow light (prior to this we used a normal living room lamp xD) I have included photos of its progression until this day. We feel the growth has stunted, and will be posting more updates on the plant as they come. The issue I'm having is the soil feels damp yet the leaves are drooping down yet feel dryer and not as lively to the touch as they should. The pictures are from Jan 17th in the cube, Jan 21st when the leaves sprouted in the soil and when we first placed it underneath its light on February fourth, until its current state today. I try to test the soil up to my second knuckle for dampness before giving my baby another drink, but the leaves felt a little dry to the touch so my s/o topped it up on Wednesday. The leaves feel not so much dry but not entirely moist either and are seeming to droop a little. Any advice to fix the droop would be much appreciated. January 17th January 21st February 4th February 15th TLDR; Plants are drooping unsure of reasoning why, watering when soil is dry on my knucklebut damp on my finger tip.
Welcome to grasscity we will need a whole lot of more info than that buddy temps RH ph day time temps lights out temps and rh what have you been feeding how much the knuckle test isnt very accurate as a whole try lifting when dry and then after a feed you will soon know you shouldn't be giving it any thing but abit of light watering around the perimeter of the plant that light what watts is it.
Aight so its literally just a potting mix no nutrients at all. we're strictly feeding it water. will post the potting mixes we are using 50/50 per bag this is the bet we could get where we were at the time. As you said all I should be doing is watering and lighting it the cycle right now is on from 230 pm to 830 am then off the hours between until its on again on a timer 230 pm I don't know the balances of the water unfortunately as I'm extremely new to this and just using water that I'm letting sit out from the tap at least a day prior to watering.
I do have a gauge for temperature in the room Will go snap a pic right now as the light is on and has been on for the past hour and a half aswell as over this weekend will retrieve some litmus paper to test the balances of the PH for you guys
