So I just bought a new greenhouse for outback my house and I want to try to grow in it. My main question is this, how much different is growing outside then grow tent? I also have a 2x2 grow going in my garage along with a new grow in the works, a 5x5. I was thinking of doing just autos outside. Below I will provide pictures of the greenhouse I bought.
The only thing im worried about is one side of the greenhouse will not be getting light as it will be right next to my house.
I grow in the shadows myself. It'll be ok. Mine does get some sun though. But shadows from the house and from a large tree in my neighbors yard really shorten my sun time. If you're concerned, Maybe you could put something like mylar on one side to reflect light to the other side. Just an idea????
Thats actually a great idea about the mylar! I also have a large tree on the other side of me as well. Idk im just tryna grow as much as I can rn lol. Got a 2x2 175w tent going in the garage along with another new setup, a 5x5 tent 600w.
Shadows like that can cause a plant to flower before they would otherwise. Greenhouses though keep Temps higher when it's cool out extending your growing times, reduces your need for light and prying eyes out of your business. Can't go wrong with a greenhouse. I'm not disagreeing with you, but I've never experienced that. My green house gets about 5-6 hours of direct sun, then it's back into the shadows. Nothing flowers around here till August. But then, I don't veg indoors then move them outdoors. Maybe that's a difference?
