Hello, just joined GC. I have done a lot of reading on this forum and others. I have completed a couple of small, half ass closet grows thanks to all the great info here but I am just starting to take the plunge into getting serious. Just purchased a 4x4 tent and an 8 bulb floro, 4ft. I also have a UFO LED. I have read mixed review on these but figured why not try them. Currently I am germinating 4 seeds. Big bud Xxl, tangerine dream, sage and finally new York 47. I am growing the Xxl and sage in aeroponics. The ny47 and tangerine dream will be grown in soil. I also currently have one plant growing outdoors. It was a bag seed that I lucked out with and it turned out to be female. I will post pics in the coming days of it. It's starting to look great and is huge to me considering I have never grown outdoors. I hope to learn from everyone here and in return pass along my experiences and photos.
Hopefully these pics work. These are of my outdoor plant. It's about 8 weeks into flowering. Looks decent to me. The biggest bud is about the size of my fist. The average cola is about the size of a banana. Even the smaller buds are a decent size. As far as my indoor grow. I have ditched the aero for now and decided to go with a 75/25 mixture of fox farm ocean forest and fox farm light warrior. I'm about one week into this combo. Seems to be going well. I also ditched the 8 bulbs floro and went with a single 4ft T5 and the single LED UFO 90w light. We will see what happens. I plan to veg in 3 gal bags after transplant from solo cup in a week or so. Then I plan to flower in 7 gal bag after a total veg period of 3 months possibly 4. I will have to post pics of the indoor plants later. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. I will get better ones ASAP. Hope to get some feedback.
I believe Sage wants a transplant. I would guess the roots are ready based on the plant size. I wouldn't think is an N def. With Light warrior on week 2. Either way if you put her in the 3gal bag now she's gonna take off IMO. What do you plan on fertilizing with?
I noticed the larger the bigger the faster they grow. Welcome to Gc Obviously you have a green thumb I can see your plants look awesome. Passing some rep your way broski
The larger the bucket the faster they grow. Once those roots hit that solo cup the plant will slow down immensely
