Sorry I posted before introducing myself. But, I needed to get that concern off my chest. I'm kind of an independent person. I live in rural area where I can watch the deer and other wildlife as they eat my garden. The area weed growers seem to be having a bad year with the drought and all. If it didn't wreck their crop, it made the corn a lot shorter which is making it easier for the sheriff to spot it. At least the budget cuts have reduced the number of deputies on patrol considerably. I find the people here to be very interesting and diverse. I think I'll like it.
Welcome to the city! Deer are eating your garden? Hope you're not a grower!... No wait, it would be hilarious to see that, I take back my initial statement and ask you to share photos if you've got them. Hopefully, those deputies will soon be out there catching real criminals and your farmers get a break from the drought. I fully appreciate how terrible both those things can be, here in Australia we've got more than our fair share of bored cops and sunny days. Dear hunting season just opened for bow hunters so I may get some relief. That is if they are hiding in trees to hunt and not just escape from their spouses.
I know a guy who put his plants in a neighbor's corn field this year. The entire crop failed but his plants flourished. Didn't take long for the authorities to find fifty plants doing their thing out in the centre of an empty field.
