  1. Hey tokes!

Was just wondering about my seeds, I went to this store called High-Times, it's pretty nice, the have the sweetest collection of stuff I've ever seen before. ANyways, I went there and bought some seeds, I took a Indoor Seed Mix, which is 10Seeds randomly picked. I've read a shit load of guides last night and started doing that paper towel stuff with my little nuts. I put the between 2layers of the towels and put the whole thing in a little plastic container. Every few hours the paper gets really dried out so I spread a little bit of water back on them with a spoon. Anyways, I was just wondering (even though I've read almost every damn guide, I guess it's just for a secure feeling reason), how long will I wait until I can tell if my seeds are evolving or just plain dead (is that possible)?...Anyways, thanks for any help. Later.

  2. the best way i found to germinate is in a glass of water for 24 hours then put them on the paper towel within 2 or 3 days they should start to sprout but if not give them another couple of days but make sure the paper towel doesn't dry out

  3. ive done same as you

i bought som seeds at high times - 10 indoor seeds mix-
    50% garanty!

i put to germination 5 of them on tuesday afternoon.
on wednesday night one crack and thursday morning 2 others.
    the 2 others were dead.

i planted them on thursday afternoon and saturday late afternoon my first plant showed up and the 2 others were out when i woke up sunday morning!

    ..hope that can help you...

  4. Wait a second, I have to put them in a glass of water? I mean, completely inside the water?

And if yes, I can still do this after having them in the paper towels for a night right?

  5. if you already have them in paper towels leave them there the easiest way is soaking the paper towel then leave the tray or plate on a slight angle so the water drains slowly

  6. If you want the paper towel method to work well you need warmth. Put the moist paper towels with seeds in them inside a tupperware container. Seal it up and put it on top of your computer monitor. The heat from your monitor will make the seeds pop in half the time.

Personally, I use a seedling heat mat. It costs $20 and keeps them at the perfect temp needed for germination. Unless they are dead, all of my seeds pop, and most within 24 hours. You can get them at and KMart or Walmart, Home DePot, Lowes, etc.

  7. Great, thanks a lot you guys, it's really appreciated.
