New tent set up, What size Rhizo pots!?!

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Smithy1, Oct 8, 2018.

  1. I'm got a new setup it's a 1x2 1x2 2 tent, just been set up today and I plan on having 4 plants in there, Or maybe can i fit 5? I plan to veg for around 4-5 weeks from seed then flip to 12/12,

2 White Widows from Royal Queen Seeds (Although I got 3)
2 Royal Cheese from Royal Queen Seeds (Also Got 3)
    I'm growing under a 600hps
4' Fan and Carbon Filter running
I'm growing in canna Coco Natural
Using all canna Nutes, A+B, And every additive.

What litre Rhizo Pots shall i use i have never grown in them and I've heard there brilliant but what size shall i use? Here's the website I got my tent off that also sells the Rhizo pots.

    All thought appreciated folks.

  2. Read up on coco multifeeds. Small pots grow big plants. It’s not like soil. Feed light nutrients, 2-3 times daily and get hydro growth. Always feed to 20% waste. Ph Nutes to 5.7-6.3, let it swing through that range so all micro and macro nutrients are absorbed.

Here’s a link to my journal, showing the technique

  3.
  4. I started in 1 gallon pots - then went to 3 gallon - I would not go under 3 gallon now
(still use 1 gallon for my mothers)

  5. I've just googled how many 3 gallons to a litre and its 13 litres, Shall I just go for four off the 12 litre rhizo pots or the 16 litre to make things safe? Please help lol

  6. I wouldn’t go over 3 gallons. One gallon pots of coco can grow trees using the multifeeds. I have one in a 4 gallon pot that I vegged for 3 months. She’s in flower now and cranking out the colas.

  7. Wowwww that's one hell off a plant, Look at all them bud sites, are you growing in coco? Plus another question while your here is it true you have to feed plants in coco a few times a day, Surely not?? So shall i just go with the 4 12 litre rhizo pots, I have the Cannes nutes, A+B and all the additives to.

  8. I feed 2-3 times daily. You don’t have too but you might as well grow in soil if not, that’s how you get the hydro growth

  10. 3 gal. pots - feed 4 cups every 3rd day - use alaska nutes

  11. So 3 gall pots are the equivalent off around 12-13 litre? Will these be okay for my full grow in my tent in 1x2 1x2 200, I don't want to buy them and be the wrong size I've got around £20 left out off my budget, I've spent nearly £400. I've got the full canna range and ill be mixing it all into a 2 litre bottle and like the A+B, Cannazym, Rhizotonic, and giving each plant 2 litres.

  12. I'll be feeding with 2 litre bottles every other day when I'm growing in coco, This is my first time growing in coco and I'm getting mixed reviews on it some people say feed few times a day and other just say feed when the pot is light every 2-3 days. So I'm confused to bits.

  13. If your going to veg for less than 6 weeks, one gallon is good for the multifeed method. If you want to feed every 3 days or so and get soil growth, go with the 3 gallon pots

  14. Read my journal bud. Most guys that start growing in coco assume it’s like soil. And you can treat it that way, but it’s not ideal. Coco is supposed to be a passive hydro medium. So why not treat it that way and get explosive growth?

  15. It will be around 4-5 weeks I'm vegging for, Its coco I'm growing with though not soil thats the thing lol

  16. When i was growing in soil I was watering every 3-4 days when the pot was really light I'd give it a feed then the same again, I'm getting mixed reviews about coco some people are saying its easy and better than soil others say they wished they stayed with soil, So confusing.

  17. I get way too much run off on the everyday feeding ( dont like wasting ferts) I went to the four cups every 3rd day and I get no run off and they are just getting light after 2 days so it is working out good for me

  18. Then get one gallon regular pots and mix 30% Perlite in. If you can commit to multifeeds during flower, and the end of veg,

Check out my apprentices first ever grow, too. Total noob, KILLING IT.

  19. Will I be okay adding all the nutes and additives to the same 2 litre bottle off water shake after each one is added and then leave it for a few hours then feed? I'm not one for mixing in a big bucket, I have 10ml syringes to measure it all with properly.

  20. No runoff is asking for problems. 20% runoff washes away built up salts in the coco.
