Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by medicinemaninny, Sep 23, 2011.

  1. ok, ive been growing for a while now and cannot figure out why only one of my plants (the 12' footer) is showing purple....ish flowers. and only on top. any ideas. also this is the only one left..harvested the others.

  2. theres a few different reasons, one is that it's well alive for so long the plant is turning purp time to harvest, or like us lack of oxygen or just a Killer new strain, but either or. Pix when its done

  3. 12 foot? Either lieing or extremely lucky :p

  4. wat... Plants dont turn purple due to lack of oxygen, if it's a 12footer im assuming it's a sativa, and since the weather is getting cooler, colder night temperatures can cause Purple coloring.

  5. 12 ft plants?
Has to be outside - and it's starting to get cold at night, which will cause the plant to start to turn purple.

  6. Lol 12' good shit, must be outdoor (obviously). It's showing purple cause of the cooler night days. You left it longer then others longer cause this one was purple Lol?

  7. Lol at almost the same post by Laith

  8. cool thought it was the cooler temps..hit 40s one night. yes 12 foot have to use ladder to get to the top. pic real soon. just sampled and ready to harvest. I like the head high so time to go. thanks for all input...pic in an hour

  9. Pics or I'd say bullshit haze

  10. I gotta see this

  11. you sound like a retard trying to jump rope.

Apprentice tokers isn't the place to ask  This may be because of the cold, usually plants purple in cold temps, and allot of strains grow purple.

Oh and to the people who don't know shit about growing and are calling bull shit, ever heard of a sativa dominant, they can grow to 14 feet, i have had a 13 foot outdoor plant before, so quit calling bull shit if you don't know what your talking about

  14. if anyone even read my post, i was saying the colder climate theory first... no need for so many reposts.

  15. is the cold the same reason my balls are turning purple?
