I'm going today to get FFOF.. Plants have had no nutes at all.. Doing real good though.. Started with MG. Now the plants have no nutes left in the soil. So I'm switching today.. Any helpful tips on not doing something wrong Again.. Just repot as usual? I've head the FFOF can be a little hot so not to at any nutes. They are ready to put into flower, but going to have to wait a little longer to get the right soil, nutes ect. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Yes - you can transplant your plants directly into the Fox Farms soil. While you're at the hydro store, ask them for a little 5 pound sack of Kelp Meal. I'd mix several full cups of the kelp meal into each sack of Fox Farms soil you buy. Chances are that you will need to supplement some kind of nutrients halfway through flower. Foxfarm specifically designs they are soils this way - so that you will also need to go out and buy their nutrients. I'd also take a good fistful of the kelp meal and toss it into your watering pail 24-48 hours before every other watering. Don't worry about checking pH or any of that nonsense. Once you get a little bit of time come on back here to the organics forum and start poking around. You'll find that most of us mix our own soil's from scratch - we are able to grow our plants from start to finish without the addition of any types of nutrients for the most part. Then we can take it and reuse that soil over and over again. It's pretty cool. So go get your Foxfarm soil, mix of bunch of kelp meal into it, grow your plants but come back and do some reading here in the Organics forum. There are some pretty good gardener is here that are always more than willing to help you out. Best of luck with your garden. J
Ok thanks bud.. I easily banged almost all soil from the roots had a very healthy root system. Took that replanted in FFOF. Also bought tiger bloom for flower stage.. They are already ready for flower.. Just needed better soil/food.. Set me back about 2 weeks. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Why would you knock all the old soil off? I would think that would cause all kinds of transplant stress. Sent from my MotoE2(4G-LTE) using Grasscity Forum mobile app
