    To avoid bashing: I used the search function and I DO realize there are other threads about this. However my tastes for high music are a little specific when I'm toasted:rolleyes:

    I mostly like to listen to techno music. Something with multiple beats that I can get lost in and that is calming. Crazy synthesizer effects. deep, bass. I don't like rap type music (sorry rap lovers :p ) and I also dislike harsh, distorted guitar sounds. something you can just really zone out and get lost in . anything comin' to mind blades?

    The best single example of my taste would be "The Wave" by Cosmic Gate. I would listen until 1:40 to get the full effect
