This is true. But for storing, I always found keeping them with a few grains of rice helpful to prevent mold and other issues. I use a film container and put a few grains of rice in with the seeds. Works well for me. They found a few seeds in pyramids that were thousand of years old that still sprouted. Don´t think they were MJ though.
