I just went to a local headshop the otherday, and just decided to buy the only roor they had left... its a 23/24inch beaker bottom with in-tube ice-catcher and 3 arm tree perc... it doesn't have any signatures on it, the logo is the correct size with the trademark.... the only thing that is worrying me, is that I cannot fins any beaker RooR's with peculators in it at all If anyone can put my mind at ease, it would be appreciated
So just out of curiosity, what happens if/when you buy a fake ROOR then get home and realize its a fake. Can you take it back to the headshop and argue with them about it? Or are you just SOL and pretend its a real ROOR?
there are ways to get it returned. Hes not going to want to. IF it is fake. write some "nice" reviews on the web describing your experience. Then contact the owner let him know about the reviews. i always google a headshop to check out the reviews first. I would never go somewhere that rips ppl off, or sells things as something they are not.
If it lacks the signature, you can pretty much assure yourself that it's a fake, I've never seen a RooR without a signature.
Yeah we're really not gonna be able to tell unless you post pics. That is unless there is no splashguard, then it's for sure fake.
I went to a local smokers choice around me and they had for sure fake roors, register mark in wrong spot, no splash guards, etc. I was just wondering if I could get them in any trouble for counterfeiting? I want to be like "Give me one and I wont report you" or something. I'm normally a nice guy but they can't just rip people off like that.
Sorry if I haven't gotten back to the forums... I will post up pictures when I get home within the next 2-3 hours. I think it has a splashguard.. but the 3 ice pinches are above uncovered 3-arm perc which is blocked from the beaker bottom with only a center hole for the water/smoke to flow thru and out the 3 arm's of the perc. The Ice pinches aren't far away from the the ROOR logo. I will post pics soon.. thanks alot everyone
