New 'Roor' Bong - 80% Accurate Reproduction

    Tokes like a champ smooth yet powerful, the ice and percolator really help cool the smoke.

    Edit: May as well mention, in terms of comparison to an authentic Roor, the only difference is the stem angle on this is moderately steeper and closer to the main tube than on authentic models. Also no splash guard - I find these a pain to clean and personally wish on the taller models Roor would not include them at all - anyone getting splash-back from one as tall as mine or taller is using way too much water in their perc.

    I'm aware but the diameters on the tubes are the same so the toke is the same - I didn't pay a 'real roor price' if anyone is concerned about potential rip-offs. What I'll never understand is how fake Roors have become so rampant (at least this is one is almost 100% true to the real thing unlike some very shoddy ones I've seen others grab), where I'm at you have to pay 250 up for virtually any size Roor if you want it to be 100% authentic lol.

    What'd you pay for it?

    Toke won't be the same though... there's so much more to it, the angle of the downstem, the fact that that China-tree perc has slitted rather than open ended bottoms, and lack of splash guard is plenty change in the function of the piece.

    It's not a terrible piece, but it's not going to rip like the RooR version of it. And you are paying for a higher quality glass, not meaning thicker, but German rather than Chinese.

    I don't mean to rip on him either haha, I'm sure he will enjoy it, I have a similar Chinese-made 5 arm tree perc beaker bottom myself.

    I didn't pay 250 for a fake RooR don't worry :) - 120 is what I paid. Tokes great I can't complain I knew what I was buying for what I paid I'm quite pleased.

    That seems pretty fair for the piece coming from a LHS, you did well.

    Yea for sure. Unfortunately where I live to get an authentic RooR requires a 45 minute drive into the center of the nearest major city and then paying 60-100 dollars over RooR's own MSRP depending on model.
