Hey everyone I'm GanjoFett, I've just recently joined GC although I have been browsing the forums as a guest for quite awhile now. I am new to growing however and that was my biggest push for making an account. Well anyways onto my "thought" I had this morning, someone might already use it, not really sure, haven't seen anything on the matter so far... What about putting mylar on sections of the floor or any area under the plant really? Light getting to the plant is really important and that just seems like prime real estate for reflection! Ps - In the next few weeks and months you all will start to see and hear more from me as I get further into the process of growing for the first time still in research stage haha thanks everyone!
Mylar for reflectivity is basic 101...many of us use the floor for growing or at least a position for plants, due the the earths gravitational field putting them anywhere else can be difficult. though not impossible. I prefer to use heavy plastic sheeting, as it saves my floor from getting wet or even rotting out To my blog and see the library "V"
I'm well aware that mylar is basics. I wasn't suggesting the use of mylar, I was referring to the placement of it. And again nothing I said had anything to do with the placement of the plant. I was simply stating that mylar on the floor or in some general area near the medium would reflect the light to the underside of your leafs and buds. Thank you for the reply, Im not sure you understood what I was trying to get across lol
