Hey GC, So Im looking to build a PC grow box, and grabbed my old powermac to see if it would work, I took a few pics so you could see, but I am wondering if this box is sufficient. Also, is there a way to make a grow not smell at all? It;s roughly 1.5 ft tall and 1.5 ft across. It has a locking mechanism that keeps it from opening at all(see picture) It has a cool little air intake mechanism mounted to the side(see first pic) tl;dr: Is this case sufficient for a small grow?
get a bagseed. veg until you have used up 1/3-1/2 of your available space[height]. flower. make your decision after harvest. whether or not future grows in this said box is worth it. i found the EXACT same tower mrgrowpro uses on eBay for $10+shipping, so if your current setup isn't as efficient as you'd like, try to find a full size tower for cheap or build a box. as far as the no smell goes, carbon filters are the way to go. search for DIY carbon filter. some people use products such as ona, but carbon is the real deal. good luck with your garden!
