Then your gonna take lessons and youre gonna go

And it's gonna be that for many years... and then youre gonna start realizing how much you love this instrument and then you're gonna start putting everything together and it will rule

Basically, I don't know anyone w/o previous insturment experience that can do anythign on a guitar their first time

But celebrate every victory you make and dont get discouraged... KEEP AT IT

There will be times when you think you suck and everyone else is better than you, but take a break and start practicing more, and you will be there before you know it

 

If you want to get serious about it, work on learning all the notes down the fretboard asap. Learning chordes and notes is important and pretty basic at first. Guitar for most people isnt just picking it up and playing you need to put some effort towards learning it and getting better. Take your time and learn at your own pace, dont get discouraged. Been playing for 6 years now and still have a long way to go on getting better.
