new lights

    just got 3 100W and 1 150W lights,

    the eco friendly kind that only use 23 w for 100 w.

    just wanted to see if that would be sufficient lighting for 8 plants (4 by 2) (almost 8 square feet)

    just to add on to that whats the difference? because i got those eco friendly 3 100w bulbs.. it says 27w=100w... are they less powerful? will 3 of them work for a small space 2-3 plant grow?

    Equivalent ratings on CFL's are to be ignored. If you have 3 27W=100W bulbs... you should only count them as 81W total.

    okay.. so would that be enough light for say 2-3 plants?

    No. Rule of thumb is 50W-100W per plant.
