  1. well I am getting a new laptop here in the next few days. I have a 500-600 dollar range. (can't pass 600 though) I would like help finding the best laptop available for that much. I mean it would only get casual use, because my desk top is where all the gaming and processes a lapptop in my range wouldn't be able to do. I just want some suggestions.

  2. Go for a dual core 15-17inch with 4gb ram and w7 preferably. Maybe 512mb mobile GPU.

Nicest laptop for the money I think, has a lot of the features of nicer laptops with the hdmi for pluggin into your lcd/plasma/led tv. LED HD screen, 720p you tube vids look great. Bluetooth to connect a mouse or other bluetooth accessories. Like I said great for the money, plus it's on the lower end of your budget, probably could get a nice warranty to go with it. Runs $479 on bestbuy.com or use your savings to buy a bag of weed.

  4. a nice used Thinkpad on Craigslist.

  5. possibly look into refurbs?
